Who do you work with?
First-time buyers, repeat buyers, relocators and sellers.
Do you only work in San Francisco?
Primarily, yes. Real estate works hyper-locally, and San Francisco is the market I know best. Some agents try to cover the whole Bay Area, and I don't. I know the East Bay well and will work there for special clients and my own circle. For other parts of the Bay, the state and the country, I have referral partners I trust, so you get the best of their market too.
Are you new to real estate, and does that matter for me?
I'm newer as an agent, but real estate isn't new to me: my first job was helping manage my grandmother's properties. I focus on quality of service over volume, so I bring a hunger to learn and a fresh approach to marketing, presentation and the technology that makes the process smoother.
What does education-first mean?
It means I'd rather teach you how San Francisco real estate works than rush you into a decision. Before you buy or sell, we go through the numbers, the process and the trade-offs in plain English, so you understand every step and can make the call that's right for your life and your long-term finances.
Why do you call yourself an insider?
Because I want you to see how San Francisco real estate really works. I explain buying and selling in plain English, share what I know about the city, and act as your advocate from inside the industry.
I'm not ready to buy yet. Is it okay to reach out?
Yes, please do. Trust builds over years, not transactions, and the best buyers are the most prepared. Time does matter in real estate, but rushing into a decision you weren't ready for often leads to regret. I'd rather help you prepare for the long term and learn before you're ready. Financial literacy matters so much, so reach out early.
What's the difference between the discovery call and the consult?
The 20-minute discovery call is about connection and fit: your priorities, and whether I'm the right agent for you. There's a saying that there's a lid for every pot, and I'd rather we find yours, even if it isn't me. We're choosing each other, so think of it as a first date. The 60-minute consult is where we build trust and a game plan tailored to you.
How do you help me figure out what I can afford?
We start with your numbers, using my calculator and a "what's left to live on" approach that shows what remains each month after housing and taxes. Then we look at your financial priorities. Maybe you'd buy below your means to keep room for spending. Maybe you're committed to a specific home and willing to adjust your lifestyle for it. My job is to align your financial goals with your real estate goals.
What happens after we close?
Closing is the start of the relationship, not the end. I stay part of your life long after.
